It's been a long time since we blogged so I thought I would take advantage of the -47'C (w/windchill) and stay inside and give an update.
The holidays for us were a lot of fun. We ended up spending time in Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Calgary, and Kentucky. It was was a lot of traveling but well worth it. As always we didn't take as many pictures as we should have but here are a few from KY.

Petrea in Louisville

Petrea right before she dove into the water at Jacobson Park in Lexignton. In the distance is the Lakeside Golf Course where the old man and I went golfing later that week.

Petrea found some bread in the parking lot.

Making friends.

We went for a walk and started throwing rocks at the tip of a log sticking out of the water. Somehow Michelle threw a rock and it landed directly on top of the tip of the log and managed to stay there. It was unbelievable. One in a million sort of thing.

This morning I woke up and had sort of a peacock tail going on in the back. Petrea thought it was cute. Time for a haircut.

We heard from the the U of Kentucky this week and have been accepted to their dental program. School starts in Aug. We hope to move into a place that can accomodate visitors so if anyone is looking to have a historical visit to the bluegrass state please come and visit.

Life is going well for us. Petrea's bump is growing nicely and the little one is very active. He's always kicking and moving around. We are getting pretty excited for his arrival. Only 14 more weeks!

Congratulations on your acceptance Michael!

13 weeks does NOT sound very long at all, the pregnancy is going quickly for me. The active baby must be just like his Dad...

And I thought it was cold here. . . couldn't imagine minus 47 Celsius.

Love the hairdo, Michael!

Congratulations on getting accepted at the University of Kentucky.

Glad that you are back blogging. I have been thinking about you folks. Congratulations on your acceptance to the U of Kentucky. That means you will be closer to your Dad. Looks like nice country down there.
I guess it will be JUly or early August when you will be moving. The baby is due in June sometime and will need a little time to get adjusted to this world.
At least it will be warmer down in Kentucky. It certainly won't be minus 40 degrees. This has been a crazy winter everywhere, Glad to hear all is well.
Hello to Petrea

Mom, the baby is due April 29.

Pretty exciting for a move to warmer places and have a new addition...and a new school.

Ya, for sure we will come and visit...you will have to improve on the hairdos before we come though.
