Birthday BBQ

Earlier this week, we celebrated Michael's birthday with a group of our friends. Michael's birthday is on the 20th, and his good friend Brad's is on the 19th so we had a joint party. Earlier that day, Michael, Brad, Tom, and Kyle went golfing and in the evening we all got together to have a BBQ and cake in the Hamilton's backyard. Mike has been really into golf this summer, so I made a golf themed cake for the party.

Here are the birthday boys with their sons:

This is Drew and Ben. The other kids at the party were all girls and were considerably more mobile than these guys. We parked these 2 little men next to each other so they could hang out. It kinda looks like Drew is flashing some kind of gang sign.

Here are all the kids together. I was very hesitant to sit Drew on the swinging seat as he still can't really hold his head up let alone sit on his own. I was sure he would just fall over or off the chair. But we propped him up between 2 kids and took the photos fast. It was quite a funny scene. The whole group of parents were standing behind the camera's waving their arms and making weird faces to try to get their kids to look at the camera.

The 2 little boys did really well, but after a minute or 2 started to tip over.

Here is the whole group together. The Bourne's, Hamilton's, Wood's, and us. We'll will be very sad to leave this group of friends.
